Obama, if you had a son…Would you allow him to …

Sail to the new world?
In a wooden boat?
Not knowing what waited there?
Build a settlement?
Risk disease and drought, starvation and more?
Would you allow your son to push westward in a little wagon with supplies and courage and not much else?

Would your son ford rivers and shoot muskets?

Would your son rope cattle and wrestle with bulls?

Mr. Obama, this is how we know you aren’t one of us.

We have a proud Country with a bold heritage and we do hard things and sometimes we die trying.
We honor and admire souls that are brave and daring, in case you didn’t know.

Remember Sally Ride? Or were you in Pakistan or Indonesia or somewhere when she died?

What if her mother had said “My daughter will never ride to the moon!”

Mr. Obama, we had grandparents that came here in the belly of old wooden ships and they puked for weeks and walked off on Ellis Island to years of hard labor, but you know what?

They were free and they were brave: two things you don’t appreciate or treasure.
My great grandfather felled trees and created a farm and could have died trying.

My dad walked girders in the roof of the factory where he worked — right over boiling steel forges– to paint the ceilings and other machinery and my brothers were scared of practically nothing and invented things that are useful in their trade as lumberjacks–another career you probably would never recommend to that imaginary son of yours.

You probably wouldn’t recommend a career of driving race cars or speed boats and anything else we Americans can make go fast like fighter jets and Navy ships and all the ways Americans can and are bad ass.

TOO BAD.

You can’t erase the boldness of Americans and it’s a good thing. We like to push the boundaries and with God’s help we will.

You and your cowardly way of thinking are a stain on our nation we want to see leave.

Bring back the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

God Bless America.

Islam, A part of American History?….Note; this is not a small issue; it growing world-wide; and here in the US…!!!!

Barack Obama, during his Cairo speech, said: “I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America’s history.”

Muslims

AN AMERICAN CITIZEN’S RESPONSE

Dear Mr. Obama:
Have you ever seen a Muslim hospital?
Have you heard a Muslim orchestra?
Have you seen a Muslim band march in a parade?
Have you witnessed a Muslim charity?
Have you seen Muslims, shaken hands with a Muslim Girl Scouts?
Have you seen a Muslim Candy Striper?
Have your seen a Muslim do anything that contributes positively to the American way of life ????
The answer is no, you did not. Just ask yourself WHY ???
Were those Muslims that were in America when the Pilgrims first landed? Funny, I thought they were Native American Indians.
Were those Muslims that celebrated the first Thanksgiving day? Sorry again, those were Pilgrims and Native American Indians.
Can you show me one Muslim signature on the: United States Constitution? Declaration of Independence? Bill of Rights? Didn’t think so.
Did Muslims fight for this country’s freedom from England? No.
Did Muslims fight during the Civil War to free the slaves in America? No, they did not. In fact, Muslims to this day are still the largest traffickers in human slavery. Your own half-brother, a devout Muslim, still advocates slavery himself, even though Muslims of Arabic descent refer to black Muslims as “pug nosed slaves.” Says a lot of what the Muslim world really thinks of your family’s “rich Islamic heritage,” doesn’t it Mr. Obama?
Where were Muslims during the Civil Rights era of this country? Not present. There are no pictures or media accounts of Muslims walking side by side with Martin Luther King, Jr. Or helping to advance the cause of Civil Rights.
Where were Muslims during this country’s Woman’s Suffrage era? Again, not present. In fact, devout Muslims demand that women are subservient to men in the Islamic culture So much so, that often they are beaten for not wearing the ‘hajib’ or for talking to a man who is not a direct family member or their husband. Yep, the Muslims are all for women’s rights, aren’t they?
Where were Muslims during World War II? They were aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler, reviewed the troops and accepted support from the Nazi’s in killing Jews.
Finally, Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th, 2001? If they weren’t flying planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon or a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle East.
No one can dispute the pictures shown from all parts of the Muslim world celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other cable news network’s that day. Strangely, the very “moderate” Muslims who’s asses you bent over backwards to kiss in Cairo, Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To many Americans, their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day.
And THAT, Mr. Obama, is the “rich heritage” Muslims have here in America …
Oh, I’m sorry, I forgot to mention the Barbary Pirates. They were Muslims.
And now we can add November 5, 2009 – the slaughter of American soldiers at Fort Hood by a Muslim major, is a doctor and a psychiatrist, who was supposed to be counseling soldiers returning from battle in Iraq and Afghanistan.

That, Mr. Obama is the “Muslim heritage” in America
Muslim Heritage, my ass.

P.S. Now add the Boston Marathon bombings, too!
EVERY AMERICAN SHOULD READ THIS !!

* U.S. Agency for International Development — $1.39 billion annual savings.

* General Assistance to District of Columbia — $210 million annual savings.

* Subsidy for Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority — $150 million annual savings.

* Repeal the Davis-Bacon Act — More than $1 billion annually.

* IRS Direct Deposit: Require the IRS to deposit fees for some services it offers (such as processing payment plans for taxpayers) to the Treasury, instead of allowing it to remain as part of its budget — $1.8 billion savings over ten years.

* Require collection of unpaid taxes by federal employees — $1 billion total savings.

* Prohibit taxpayer funded union activities by federal employees — $1.2 billion savings over ten years.

* Sell excess federal properties the government does not make use of — $15 billion total savings.

* Eliminate death gratuity for Members of Congress.

* Eliminate Mohair Subsidies — $1 million annual savings.

* Eliminate taxpayer subsidies to the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change — $12.5 million annual savings

* Eliminate Market Access Program — $200 million annual savings.

* USDA Sugar Program — $14 million annual savings.

* Subsidy to Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) — $93 million annual savings.

* Eliminate the National Organic Certification Cost-Share Program — $56.2 million annual savings.

* Eliminate fund for Obamacare administrative costs — $900 million savings.

* Ready to Learn TV Program — $27 million savings.

* HUD Ph.D. Program.

* Deficit Reduction Check-Off Act.

TOTAL SAVINGS:
$2.5 Trillion over Ten Years

I would add the elimination of the U.S. contribution to the budget of the United Nations. There is no reason why decisions regarding our national security and sovereignty should be subordinated to the UN. The humanitarian work undertaken by UN agencies can be done just as well, if not better, by independent international organizations.
