Muslim Brotherhood claim: We’ve got ‘goods on Obama’ ….

Son of jailed leader says evidence could put U.S. president in prison…

The claim came as the Obama administration, with the assistance of Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and the open involvement of the No. 2 man at the U.S. State Department, made a concerted effort to see Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Egypt released.

In an interview with the News Agency Anatolia in Turkey, Saad Al-Shater, the son of imprisoned Muslim Brotherhood leader Khairat Al-Shater, said his father “had in his hand” evidence that will put Obama in prison.

In a thinly veiled threat, Saad Al-Shater said a U.S. delegation was sent to Cairo by Obama to press for the release of the imprisoned Muslim Brotherhood leaders, including his father to prevent the release of explosive information.

Arabic-speaking former PLO member Walid Shoebat has translated the report by the Turkish News Agency Anatolia as follows:

In an interview with the Anatolia News Agency, Saad Al-Shater, the son of a Muslim Brotherhood leader, the detained Khairat Al-Shater, said that his father had in his hand evidence that will land the head of United States of America, President Obama, in prison. He stressed that the senior U.S. delegation currently visiting Egypt, knows full well that the fate, future, interests and reputation of their country is in the hands of his father, and they know that he owns the information, documents and recordings that incriminate and would condemn their country. Such documents, he says, were placed in the hands of people who were entrusted inside and outside Egypt, and that the release of his father is the only way for them to prevent a great catastrophe. He stated that a warning was sent threatening to show how the U.S. administration was directly connected. The evidence was sent through intermediaries which caused them to change their attitude and corrected their position, and that they have taken serious steps to prove good faith. Saad also said that his father’s safety is more important to the Americans than is the safety of Mohamed Morsi.

Writing in his blog, Shoebat noted that six different Arabic sources confirmed the interview with Saad Al-Shater and the report of Al-Shater’s claims.

Shoebat said the interview with Saad Al-Shater was Aug. 7, making it likely the reference to the “senior U.S. delegation currently visiting Egypt” was about the trip by McCain, Graham and U.S. Deputy Secretary of State William Burns.

On Aug. 6, with interim Egyptian Vice President Mohamed ElBaradei, the former general director of the U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency, McCain and Graham called Khairat Al-Shater and other jailed Muslim Brotherhood leaders “political prisoners.” They told reporters in Cairo that failing to release Muslim Brotherhood prisoners would be “a huge mistake.”

Egypt’s interim president, Adly Mansour, rebuffed the U.S. delegation’s request, telling reporters in Cairo that it constituted an “unacceptable interference in internal politics.”

On Aug. 6, the Associated Press reported the Egyptian government planned to prosecute Khairat Al-Shater and the other imprisoned Muslim Brotherhood leaders on charges of inciting violence last December when Muslim Brotherhood members attacked sit-in protestors outside then-President Mohamed Morsi’s office, resulting in the deaths of 10 people.

ABC News reported that Burns traveled separately late Sunday night, Aug. 4, to the notorious Tora Prison in the middle of Cairo to meet with Khairat Al-Shater, despite claims by the Muslim Brotherhood that Al-Shater refused to meet.

In an Aug. 6 interview with CNN in Egypt, McCain mentioned jailed Khairat Al-Shater, an openly acknowledged Muslim Brotherhood leader, when asked about individuals who could successfully negotiate a future Egyptian government.

Shoebat has published evidence documenting Khairat Al-Shater has been implicated in weapons trafficking through the Sinai and into Gaza as well as negotiating prisoner releases in exchange for terrorists.

Former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova, legal representative for Benghazi whistleblower Mark Thompson, claimed this week that intelligence officers with knowledge of the attack on the Benghazi consulate believe it was was tied to 400 surface-to-air missiles intended for Syrian rebels that U.S. officials feared could be used to shoot down an airliner or attack a U.S. embassy.

Two weeks after the Benghazi attack, WND was the first to report sources claiming the Benghazi compound was an intelligence and planning center the CIA used to recruit and arm Islamic rebels to fight Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

FOUND! IRAN’S SECRET BALLISTIC MISSILE BASE

MISSILE BASE
SemnanMissileBase2
============================================================================
The Badr base, a center for air defense which has about 50 underground missile silos housing Iran’s Shahab 3 ballistic missiles, serves as Iran’s second-largest missile-launching site, and is under the control of the Revolutionary Guards.
The base, in the deserts of Semnan far from any city, has many underground tunnels connecting to the silo launching pads, according to a source in the Revolutionary Guards intelligence unit.

The base’s command and control are connected to other bases in Noje, Hamdan, Shahid Doran in Shiraz and the country’s air traffic control centers in Tehran, Birjand and Bandar Abass.

Last year, the Revolutionary Guards aired footage on Iranian TV showing commanders along with a reporter travel via private jet to the base to observe a test launch of a Shahab 3 from an underground silo.

At that time, Brig. Gen. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards aerospace division, claimed that by placing the ballistic missiles in underground silos, the country is preparing for asymmetrical warfare, which will allow the country to stand up to more powerful enemies. Asymmetric warfare is war between belligerents whose relative military power differs significantly, or whose strategy or tactics differ significantly.
Hajizadeh last September warned Israel that the Islamic regime would launch a pre-emptive attack if it felt its enemies were preparing to attack Iran.

“We cannot imagine the Zionist regime starting a war without America’s support,” he said. “Therefore, in case of a war, we will get into a war with both of them and we will certainly get into a conflict with American bases. … In that case, unpredictable and unimaginable things would happen and it could turn into a World War III.”

The regime holds one of the largest ballistic missile arsenals in the Middle East and, as reported exclusively on WND, with the help of Russian and North Korean scientists, it has developed eight microbial agents, including anthrax, plague, smallpox and SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome), with some of the microbes genetically altered to leave the world defenseless against such an attack.

Iran has 170 missiles targeted at Tel Aviv from underground silos, some of which are armed with biological warheads, according to another source who served in Iran’s Intelligence Ministry and who recently defected.

The first source said the Semnan ballistic missile base is surrounded by many smaller bases that provide training to the support forces from the Badr and Khatamol Anbia brigades. The base and the surrounding bases also serve as the center for the regime’s aerospace activities, including the launches of Safir missiles that successfully placed satellites into orbit. Those launches are part of the intercontinental ballistic missile program.
Brig. Gen. Larimi commands the missile base, with Col. Ahmad Reza Azizi in charge of security and protection.

The Guards have mapped out an extensive list of U.S. bases in the Middle East to attack with their missiles in case of a confrontation over the regime’s illicit nuclear program, disrupting the movement of U.S. forces and the operation of the U.S. Air Force, which the Guards believe will be the main thrust of any attack by America.

In their preparations, the Guards have also drawn up plans to disrupt the oil flow from the Persian Gulf. They know that about 20 percent of the world’s oil and the majority of oil exports of eight countries in the Persian Gulf pass through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway that could be blocked by the regime’s forces.
The Semnan base, the source said, serves as a key role for that purpose with its capability to target Israel, U.S. military bases in the region and targets in the Persian Gulf.

The source warned that the regime will not give up its pursuit of the nuclear bomb and therefore is preparing for war and that the time wasted by meaningless negotiations has only empowered them with their preparations, which will engulf the region and collapse the global economy.

Russia arms Syria with powerful ballistic missiles…….

Iskander-340x159
============================================================================
Iskanders carry 1,500-pound warhead at 1.3 miles per second
===============================================================================
Hours after NATO agreed on Tuesday to send Patriot missiles to Turkey because of the crisis in Syria, Russia delivered its first shipment of Iskander missiles to Syria.

The superior Iskander can travel at hypersonic speed of over 1.3 miles per second (Mach 6-7) and has a range of over 280 miles with pinpoint accuracy of destroying targets with its 1,500-pound warhead, a nightmare for any missile defense system.
According to Mashregh, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard media outlet, Russia had warned Turkey not to escalate the situation, but with Turkey’s request for Patriot missiles, it delivered its first shipment of Iskanders to Syria.

Reporting today, Mashregh said the handover occurred when Russian naval logistic vessels docked at Tartus in Syria.

The Iskandar is a surface-to-surface missile that no missile defense system can trace or destroy, Mashregh said. Russia had earlier threatened that should America put its missile defense system in Poland, it would retaliate by placing its Iskander missiles at Kaliningrad, its Baltic Sea port.

Russia’s delivery of Iskanders to Bashar Assad’s embattled regime clearly shows that the security and stability of Syria remains Russia’s red line, Mashregh said. It is unknown how many of these missiles have been delivered but the numbers given are sufficient to destroy any Patriot missiles in Turkey, it said.

The delivery of the missile not only threatens the security of Turkey but also Israel, which would have to recalculate its strategy with its defensive and offensive capabilities.
Traveling at Mach 6-7, this new addition to Assad’s arsenal can close the 132 miles between Damascus and Tel Aviv in around 100 seconds … not that Israel has any way to stop it.

30,000 SPEEDBOATS ARMED WITH ANTI-SHIP MISSILES…….Iran’s ‘swarm’ strategy would take aim at U.S. fleet

Iran has threatened to attack U.S. warships in the Persian Gulf with its speedboats should Israel, the U.S. or both decide to launch a military attack on its nuclear facilities. Now, those speedboats will be equipped with new standoff anti-ship cruise missiles, according to a report in Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.
Iran claims to have some 30,000 such speedboats which it said it will use in a “swarm” tactic to attack U.S. warships and possibly other commercial shipping that must traverse the narrow Strait of Hormuz.

The speedboats already are assessed to be equipped with torpedo tubes that are capable of launching Iran’s own version of the Russian Skuval, capable of some 250 knots. U.S. warships are not assessed to be able to destroy such torpedoes, unless the warship can destroy the speedboat which probably would launch the torpedo at a considerable distance.

The same will apply to its anti-ship cruise missile. The speedboats will not need to closely approach the warships to attack them but instead can stand off and fire their torpedoes and now new anti-ship cruise missiles. They can do this well beyond the area in which a U.S. warship would consider such vessels threatening as part of the rules of engagement in open waters.

Navy Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi, commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, has stated that Iran has allocated “thousands” of speed boats for military purposes, many being missile-launching vessels.

“All throughout the world, Iran is the only country which has speed vessels with the ability of firing rockets and missiles at high speeds,” Fadavi said. “We now have speedboats which can launch missiles as they traverse at a speed over 60 kilometers” or some 40 miles an hour.

Iran apparently has developed a number of anti-ship missiles. One is called the Zafar, or Triumph, and the Nour, meaning Light.

The Zafar is a short-range, anti-ship, radar guided missile which can hit and destroy small and medium-sized targets with what is said to be “high precision.” Not only will it be installed on ships and on coastal installations, but also on IRGC aircraft and vehicles. The Zafar is said to be jam-resistant and can fly at very low altitudes.

The Nour is said to be a long-range cruise missile that already is operational. It has a range of 170 kilometers, or 105 miles. It is said to be an Iranian variant of the Chinese C-802 which Iran used to buy. Under U.S. pressure such exports were suspended, but then Iran reverse-engineered its own, the Nour.

There is also a third – the Qader, or Mighty, which recently was viewed during military parades during the Week of Sacred Defense in September. The Qader is a short-range anti-ship missile which has a reported range of some 200 kilometers, or almost 125 miles.

In addition to these missiles, Iran is known to have produced other land-to-sea anti-ship missiles such as the Khalij-e-Fars and Tondar.

These missiles are part of an accelerated effort to improve Iran’s military capability – including to strike with unmanned aerial vehicles, a fifth-generation fighter, ballistic missiles and a massive air defense system. Development of Iran’s military capability comes in light of escalating threats from Israel and the United States to strike the Islamic republic’s nuclear sites.
