About Inside Detecting…..

The popularity of Inside Detecting and Dave McMahon is growing:

I thought today was the time to address what makes a great radio show, and why the host is so important. The quality of the voice is a must, and often that’s something given at birth. Other than a good-sounding voice, a good host is able to speak clearly and articulate well, and talk “on their feet” (able to improvise and make it sound natural). This is something that puts Dave McMahon far above the rest of the internet radio show hosts. Dave loves what he does, and it’s reflected in his work. Dave is not someone that speaks down to you, he speaks “TO” you. The Detecting Lifestyle Radio, Inside Detecting and Metal Detecting Beyond Sight and Sound operate on the same principle of “To the People, From the People” and do not use the approach of “We’re hip and you’re not, so we’re going to degrade and humiliate our guests”. Instead you will find that The Detecting Lifestyle Family Network of shows, tries to have good wit and also the Host makes himself the butt of the jokes rather than the listeners. His ability to relate with his audience in a personal way is what make it seem as he is your “friend”.
I grant you I have known Dave McMahon for many years and that may seem to some that my opinion expressed here is biased but it is my opinion. If you have not listened to Inside Detecting yet, I do encourage you to do so, if you have time listen to the archives of previous shows, they are available soon on Itunes for your enjoyment any time of the day or night.
You the listeners are why Dave does this and your support is greatly appreciated.

Live show on Thursday nights at 8:30 PM Eastern time, archives are below the radio player on this link:
