5 secrets the media won’t say about Trump’s immigration order…..

President Donald Trump is vigorously defending his immigration restrictions, as angry protests spread throughout the country, saying “this is about terror and keeping our country safe.”

Trump released a statement Monday asserting, “To be clear, this is not a Muslim ban, as the media is falsely reporting.”

He’s right.

Despite the mainstream media outcry, the administration’s move is totally legal.

In fact, it’s actually very standard… and that truth is what the media is hiding in their condemnation of Trump.

Actually, it’s five truths. Because five out of the last six presidents of the United States have done almost the same exact thing.

Where was the media outrage when former President Barack Obama banned Iraqi immigrants in 2011 for six months, and in 2012 barred the entry of persons that have worked with the Iranian and Syrian government?

Where was this fury when former President George W. Bush and former President Bill Clinton each used the authority six times; Clinton banned Haitians in 1991 and residents of Serra Leone in 1998, if they were related to anyone involved in that country’s ruling government – where were the accusations of racism from Democrats?

Former President Ronald Reagan used this same authority five times; the media won’t mention that, of course.

And in 1980, former President Jimmy Carter used it to ban Iranians from entering the United States. His executive order suspended “all visas issued to Iranian citizens for future entry into the United States,” and said the U.S. government “will not reissue visas, nor will we issue new visas, except for compelling and proven humanitarian reasons or where the national interest of our own country requires.”

Trump’s order, which also suspends refugee admissions for 120 days and indefinitely bars the processing of refugees from Syria, has sparked widespread protests and denunciations from the same Democrats and talking heads in the mainstream media that cheered Carter and Obama and Clinton’s actions.

And they’re ignoring the truth – this has been done many, many times in the past.

It’s totally legal, according to section 212(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 which states: “Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non immigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

To their credit, the Trump administration has remained unfazed by the unfair coverage.

“America is a proud nation of immigrants and we will continue to show compassion to those fleeing oppression,” Trump said, “but we will do so while protecting our own citizens and border. This is not about religion — this is about terror and keeping our country safe.”

“I have tremendous feeling for the people involved in this horrific humanitarian crisis in Syria,” he said. “My first priority will always be to protect and serve our country, but as President I will find ways to help those who are suffering.”

In a background call with reporters Sunday, a senior administration official declared the order’s implementation “a massive success story,” claiming it had been done “seamlessly and with extraordinary professionalism.”

We are witnessing the end of the House of Clinton….

Getty Images

State of the 2016 Race
A column for The Hill analyzing the current state of the 2016 presidential race.

It is the beginning of the end of the House of Clinton:

1. There is the stench of political death around Hillary, Bill, Chelsea and the entire House of Clinton.

2. You could feel it when Republican front-runner Donald Trump hit back — hard — over the “penchant for sexism” charge by basically calling Hillary Clinton an enabler in the former president’s sexual shenanigans.

3. When have we ever seen the Clintons back off? But they did.

4. Then came further reports about an expanded FBI probe of her handling of secure information; the nexus of State Department favors for donors to the Clinton Foundation; and the story that Hillary Clinton or her staff might have lied to FBI agents in this probe.

5. All of this has raised the speculation, yet again: Will President Obama stop the Department of Justice (DOJ) from indicting her if the eight-person DOJ team working with over 100 FBI agents recommends criminal charges?

6. The president will be in an odd situation: He ran against the Clintons. He is known to loathe Bill Clinton. He apparently does not want the Clintons back in charge of the Democratic Party (thus removing the thousands of Obama acolytes with cushy patronage jobs).

7. So: If the DOJ recommends an indictment and he K.O.’s it, he will have his own legacy smeared with a permanent taint of having covered up for the Clintons.

8. If he allows an indictment to move ahead, that will be the end of Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Period. She may think she can march on despite charges, but that would be self-delusional. Her campaign will be finished the day charges are filed by Obama’s Justice Department.

9. She can’t claim “politics as usual” or that old “right-wing conspiracy” nonsense as this will beObama’s Justice Department — not a Republican-controlled entity — bringing these charges.

10. Now, even without an indictment, Hillary Clinton’s fortunes are rapidly sinking.

11. As of today, she is on track to lose both the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary — to an unelectable 72-year-old Vermont socialist!

12. That tells us how politically weak and out of it the Clinton machine has become.

13. It is no coincidence that Vice President Joe Biden has suddenly resurfaced — first in a Hartford, Conn. TV interview stating that he regrets not running “every day,” and then by softly criticizing Hillary Clinton for not leading on the anti-1 percent front.

14. Biden may very well be warming up in the bullpen for a possible emergency entry into the Democratic field once Clinton is charged and has to withdraw.

15. In the meantime, we see a frantic, panic-stricken Clinton family out on the stump hitting Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) on healthcare and guns. But they’re hitting him from the center on healthcare — not the left, where the votes are.

16. They are running national TV ads on guns on MSNBC; there are ads every few minutes. If Team Clinton members think they can turn around her negative trajectory over guns, they are sorely mistaken.

17. Economics is the main issue.

18. And Hillary Clinton is seen as being in the tank for corporate interests, while Sanders has stood up to them. Period. That is the race.

19. The 2016 campaign is a political revolution.

20. The House of Bush is also falling.

21. So is the Establishment of both political parties.

22. Who is more establishment than the Clintons and the Bushes?

23. Who has milked the political system for more money, gigs, access and cushy jobs for cronies than the Clintons and the Bushes?

24. But this is the year that the public is standing up to the status quo.

25. We are witnessing history: the fall of the Houses of Clinton and Bush.

26. Who is rising?

27. The outsiders.

The House of Liberalism and it’s collapse, by Daniel Bongino

557683_368018936624207_1791206997_n

We are watching, in real time, the collapse of the big-government model on which the house of liberalism has been built. The only question remaining is, when will those on the far left accept the results, rather than the intentions of the big government model?

President Obama ran on the idea that a big government can solve big problems, yet this model has not only not solved any of our big problems, but it has created new ones, while aggravating old ones created by prior administrations.

Think about where we find ourselves. We are in the midst of a border crisis on our southern border, a civil war in Iraq, an aggressive expansion of Russian territory, a historically unpopular healthcare initiative, record numbers of Americans both outside of our workforce and receiving disability payments from the government, a crisis where our own IRS admits to targeting Americans, then pleads the 5th, then “loses” only the emails of the suspects involved, destroys their hard-drives and tells us nothing is wrong. And where is our President on these issues? He is issuing public statements on how he disagrees with the name of an NFL team. Calling this leadership is either willfully misleading or un-willfully blind.

If “Bush did it”, then Obama “did it” worse. If we are going to blame Bush for starting the house fire, isn’t it fair to blame Obama for pouring gasoline on it?

November is rapidly approaching and yes, voting matters. If you believe otherwise, we’ll take action while you sit back and just take it. Stand up, fight back, and cede no more ground.

US military deaths in Afghanistan skyrocket under Obama……

Written by Allen West on February 13, 2014

As a former combat commander, I can tell you that fear is difficult to avoid on the battlefield. But on today’s battlefields, a new fear haunts our troops: the fear of persecution by their own government. That fear leads to internal hesitation. And that leads to death.

Billy and Karen Vaughn, parents who know the pain of having their warrior son betrayed write on Breitbart.com:

“U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan are now forced to fight a two-fronted war. Before each deployment, these soldiers understand fully that day after day they will do battle against relentless terrorists with shifting loyalties and unspeakable hatred. But what none of them could have foreseen was the killing field that would open from their rear: the Continental United States.

“Our government’s incessant tightening of already restrictive ROE (Rules of Engagement), compounded by the failed COIN (Counterinsurgency) strategy—also known as “winning hearts and minds”—has made an otherwise primitive enemy formidable.”

In the first seven-plus years of war in Afghanistan (October 2001 – December 2008) we lost 630 U.S. soldiers. In early 2009, the Obama administration authorized the implementation of the COIN (Counter-Insurgent) strategy, more focused on “winning hearts and minds” than winning a war, and over the next five years, the U.S. death toll nearly tripled.

Seventy-three percent of all U.S. deaths in Afghanistan have taken place since 2009. In the first seven plus years of war in Afghanistan, 2,638 U.S. soldiers were wounded in action. In the next forty-five months (2009 – 2012) an additional 15,036 suffered the same fate.

Recently, Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai decided to release Islamic terrorists with blood on their hands, that of our American troops as well as Afghan civilians. Imagine being a young warrior in Afghanistan at this time and having to ask “why am I here?” Many Americans are now aware of the story behind Lone Survivor and realize that when faced with life or death decisions it seems our warriors fear lawyers and the media more than the enemy. They face a non-state, non-uniformed enemy that blends in with the civilian population and knows our ROE (Rules of Engagement).

Our battle-tested men and women we send into harm’s way are confronted by the enemy and must make instantaneous combat decisions. Some, like Army 1LT Clint Lorance, find themselves afterwards sitting in a prison cell in Ft. Leavenworth.

Yet, while much evidence demonstrated links to Islamic totalitarianism and terrorism with former Army officer Nidal Hasan, and some were told to keep silent because of “political correctness.” That silence led to 13 dead and some 30 wounded in Ft. Hood Texas — shot by a man in American uniform shouting “Allahu Akhbar.” And what did our leaders say to our warriors gunned down by a jihadist on a military installation in America? It was “workplace violence.”

In the last presidential election, for the first time in nearly 77 years, the sitting president, vice president and candidates for office had no military service. I’m not suggesting that the president of the United States must have served in the military — but the most important duty of the president is Commander-in-Chief. Our country needs a leader who can understand the sacrifices and commitment of those brave men and women who stand on freedom’s rampart, because he or she has been there.

As the Vaughn’s write, “Our best and brightest come home in body bags as politicians and lawyers dine over white linen tablecloths; writing, modifying, and re-modifying these lethal rules. Rules that favor the enemy rather than the American soldier. Rules so absurd they’re difficult to believe until you hear the same stories over and again from those returning from battle.”

When the parents begin to feel this way, will America stop being the Land of the Free because parents will no longer sacrifice the brave?

We must make a stand for those who make the stand for us.

Breitbart – One Voice Silenced, Millions Awakened Op-Ed to “O” your hissy fit on August 31 2013 in front of the cameras and the world…

1. We are not a Federal “democracy.” Those two words are incongruous and simply do not fit together. And, you know it. A “democracy” is simply a palatable word for “mob rule.” In fact, from its root source, the Greek, that is exactly what it means when broken down into its parts. We are a FEDERAL REPUBLIC. And, that means, not mob rule, but the rule of law. A little fact you have ignored for 4.5 years now.

2. When you say this is the worst and most egregious use of chemical weapons in this century, you seem to be forgetting something. A century runs from today back 100 years. Within that time, we have had the Holocaust (6 million); Saddam Hussein’s gassing of 50,000+ Kurds, about which no one did a thing; the use of chemicals, supposedly, by Assad, AFTER you first laid down your “red line.” About which you did nothing! And, we have had our own use of Agent Orange and napalm in Vietnam. And, lest we forget, how about the over 54,000,000 abortions in this country alone since 1973? Not to mention the hundreds of thousands in the First World War killed and maimed by gas. All that occurred within the past 100 years. And, that equals one century. Or, are you not aware of that? And, I know you were talking about THIS century, but, I’m not, frankly. You seem to want to forget history. I don’t.

3. You and, I’m sure, many others on the left, will say we are being hypocritical because many of us gave our support to President Bush’s and Congress’ decision to go into Iraq. Let me remind you, and them, of one little item: We had been attacked and had lost around 3,000 Americans and other nationalities on our own soil. Saddam Hussein himself had spent years bragging he had WMDs. He had USED WMDs on his own people (remember the 50,000+ Kurds I mentioned above?). Our economy, yes, our NATIONAL SECURITY, had been hit! So, please…do not insult me or my countrymen by trying to compare your petulant decision to appear “strong” and have a personal hissy fit with a decision by President Bush, Congress, the American people and a coalition of our allies (we actually had some allies then!) to fight against a madman who truly was guilty of genocide against his own people. Yes. President Bush (both of them) had large coalitions and both of them also had Congressional approval. You don’t. And, what will you do if you don’t get it? Have another hissy fit and act anyway?! Fine. Do it. That IS an impeachable offense. So, you go right ahead and do it. And, we’ll see you in the impeachment hearings.

4. Why it is that you…and, we…have drawn this artificial diplomatic and international “rules” law about WMDs being worse than the present conventional weapons? Which happen to be horrible enough in themselves?! You, the UN, the entire world, have sat back and let 100,000+ Syrians die and, basically, have not done a thing. And, now, all of a sudden, you decide to act…all on your own? Without proper evidence? Let’s just get off your high horse, sir. Death and murder are death and murder. Period.

5. And, why are you all of a sudden choosing sides in what is truly an internal civil war? Which side is morally right here? From what I can see, both are about equally evil. Yes. Evil. Neither side cares how many of their own people they slaughter, frankly. And, all of a sudden, you decide to take sides with one evil against the other evil? That just plain does not make one iota’s worth of sense to me. Especially, when you have never drawn a “red line” about the massacres of Christians in a single Muslim country…specifically, Egypt under the Muslim Brotherhood?! And, yes, Assad is brutal, but…he has protected Christians in Syria for decades. That is more than the Al-Queda-filled rebels will do if they take over. It is more that YOU have done in 4.5 years in office!

6. And, finally, you’re putting off your own “red line response” again until Congress comes back on September 9? That makes no sense, either. If the matter is serious enough to put OUR (not YOUR) military in harm’s way, then it is serious enough for Congress to come back into session NOW! But, wait…yes, wait. Now I get it. Of course! Congress comes back on Sept. 9. Let’s say 2 days for debate. Hmmm…now, we have September 11. The anniversary of Benghazi. The anniversary of the first 9/11. The date of the planned Million Muslim March on DC. The date of the planned AMERICAN Biker’s March on DC. O.K. Now, I get it. A perfect way to distract us from those little items. Sorry, but, it simply won’t wash! You seem to think we are truly stupid, sir. Well, guess what?! You, sir, ARE WRONG!

So…I am one of those demanding that Congress come back NOW! Congress needs to get itself back into session immediately! And, VOTE NO on this insane directive from someone who certainly do NOT have the good of America or the good of ANYONE in his mind.

You know, one thing about this would-be dictator…he sure is forcing Americans to stand up for what we believe is right! And, if we are serious about being Patriots, we’ll take this fight straight to him! If not, we have no right to ever again complain about the death of America. We will have caused it!

If The Bush Tax Cuts End, It Will Cost…..”A Lot”

Americans would shell out as much as $5,700 more a year if the Bush tax cuts are allowed to expire at the end of 2012, according to a new analysis that highlights the perils and political consequences of the nation’s fiscal cliff.

Connecticut residents would get rocked the worst, with an additional cost of $5,783 a year while New Yorkers would get hit $5,542 on average, the study from the nonpartisan Tax Foundation states.

Mississippi residents get the least impact, at $1,310 on average, but 29 of the 50 states will see taxpayers get hit at least $2,000.
“It’s pretty dramatic…This is the biggest tax increase that would happen since World War II,” said Will McBride, chief economist at the Washington, D.C.-based Tax Foundation. “I can’t think of anyone who’s really seriously thinking we should go through this. It would almost certainly result in another recession.”

The foundation considers itself nonpartisan and awards its Distinguished Service awards each year to those who best advocate responsible tax policies. Among its previous winners are Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan and conservative donor and activist Charles Koch, as well as Democrats such as former Sen. John Breaux and current Sen. Max Baucus of Montana.
Economists estimate that if Congress does not reach agreement on the items it will siphon between $400 billion and $720 billion from growth, representing as much as 4.6 percent of total gross domestic product.
New Jersey residents would take the third-highest hit at $5,030, with Massachusetts ($4,277) fourth and California ($4,242) fifth. On the other side, states least hit, besides Mississippi, are New Mexico ($1,465) 49th, Alabama ($1,496) 48th, Tennessee ($1,522) 47th, and West Virginia ($1,530) 46th.

Interestingly, the most-hit states are generally considered Democratic strongholds, while the least-hit are mostly Republican.
If the Bush cuts expire, top tax rates will increase from 35 percent to 39.6 percent. The capital gains rate will jump from 15 percent to 20 percent while dividends also would revert to a higher rate.

JPMorgan economists predict a 15 percent chance of “falling off the fiscal cliff,” and anticipate that “would essentially guarantee a recession.”
