Hunter misses moose, shoots man on toilet…..

OSLO – A Norwegian hunter took aim at a moose, but missed and accidentally hit a man sitting on the toilet in a nearby cabin on Thursday, police said.

The bullet whizzed past the animal, pierced the wooden wall behind it and struck the man, in his seventies, in the stomach, the force told public broadcaster NRK.

The victim was flown by helicopter to hospital but his injury was not life-threatening, said the policeman who led the investigation, Anders Stroemsaether.

The hunter was taken in for questioning in Hvaler district, about 120km southeast of the capital of Oslo, said the force. The moose escaped unscathed.

Great News: More People Have Lost Health Insurance Than Have Enrolled in Obamacare…

When President Obama shoved his signature piece of legislation down the throats of the American people without a single Republican vote, he did it after promising millions of Americans that if they liked their health insurance plans, they could keep them. As Guy wrote yesterday, at least 16 million people are expected to lose their health insurance thanks to Obamacare.

But now, the administration has another huge problem to deal with. As Healthcare.gov continues to crash and burn, more people are losing their health insurance thanks to Obamacare than the number of people successfully enrolling in the program. More from Jim Geraghty:

Here’s the devastating statistic you’ll see cited until the numbers change:

Over 500,000 individuals have seen their insurance policies cancelled in just 3 states. In all 50 states, only 476,000 applications have been “filed” in an exchange.

In short, Obamacare has caused more people to lose their health insurance than gain it so far.

There’s no doubt we’ll see this trend continue. As a reminder, it was predicted people would lose their current coverage as a result of Obamacare legislation and the CBO estimated last year millions of previously uninsured people will continue to be uninsured.

A new Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report says that under the Affordable Care Act, a.k.a. Obamacare, 30 million non-elderly Americans will remain without health insurance in 2022.

One of the main arguments the Obama administration made for passing the Affordable Care Act was that it would provide coverage for the uninsured.

Tying the Knot Under ObamaCare By Eileen F. Toplansky

The heinous intrusions into our lives as a result of ObamaCare swell each day. Now, in true Marxist form, the ludicrously named “Affordable Care Act” mounts an all-out attack on marriage. In 2010, in a Web Memo, the Heritage Foundation pointed out that

Under the bill, couples would face massive financial penalties if they marry or remain married. Conversely, couples who cohabit without marriage are given highly preferential financial treatment. If the Senate bill becomes law, saying ‘I do’ would cost some couples over $10,000 per year.

In fact, the “… anti-marriage penalties and heavy ‘cohabitation bonuses [were] built into the Senate ObamaCare bill [.]'” Furthermore, “low income couples are not immune from the bill’s aggressive wedding taxes. A 60-year old husband and wife, each with an income of $15,000 would pay over $4,000 per year if they remain married. Put in other terms, the government would offer an annual bonus of $4,212 if the couple divorces and then cohabits.”

Well, ObamaCare is now law and the effects are being felt nationwide. As a continuing job killer, ObamaCare will now adversely impact clergy, wedding halls, caterers, musicians, singers, floral arrangers, and other party planners.

Consequently, “an all-out war on ‘old and outdated’ institutions like marriage and family” is being conducted “so dominance of the state can be achieved.” In communist Russia this was euphemistically known as “unions of affection and comradeship.”

In Russia in 1920, abortion on demand arrived. Hence, how convenient that via ObamaCare, every American must now pay for someone else’s abortion — a direct assault on religious freedom. Thus, the state’s monstrous power keeps enlarging under the dictator occupying the White House.

Monica Showalter in her article entitled “Five Ways Lenin’s Propaganda Destroyed Marriage and the Family in Russia” describes how Lenin destroyed the traditional family structure as his tyranny affected women through high-sounding propaganda. Eventually, however, the women who were lured into idealizing Lenin, found that their rights and their wages disappeared, thereby making them “wards of the state.”

Thus, the idea behind breaking down the family was that women without husbands could be socialized more easily. In practical terms this meant [that] men were free to leave their wives and abandon their responsibilities.

How ironic that Obama’s policies “most directly hurt women,” Thus, ObamaCare essentially “eliminates consumer driven health insurance with health savings accounts which was the fastest growing choice… for women.”

In addition, women see doctors more often than men, but now they will be “subjected to the consequences of ObamaCare edicts [.]” Mammogram screenings were to be reduced until a hue and cry arose wherein this was rescinded showing that ultimately “the federal government has the power to giveth and taketh away.” And as has been publicized, women who were covered as dependents through their husband’s employer-sponsored health insurance are losing their coverage when their husband’s employer drops coverage.

Moreover, more than half of all Medicare beneficiaries are women. But ObamaCare cuts Medicare payments. Thus, “by 2019 [the cuts] will be so draconian that payments will be even lower than Medicaid, a system in which doctors already lose money and… refuse to accept patients.”

Communism has always seen the home as “potentially subversive.” Communists long to see natural ties between mother and child “severed so that the state becomes the dominant force.” This president’s communist ties dominated his life; he is merely following in their footsteps.

Moreover, Obama, who without consent of Congress and in his now systematic assault on the Constitution eliminated the work requirement of the welfare program — the one element of the welfare program that moved people off dependency. By reversing this policy, the dependency-inducing welfare industry which undermines the importance of fathers, has been given a boost.

Obama is setting America on the same path as Lenin did for Russia almost 100 years ago. Recall that we now have 48 million Americans on welfare as a result of Obama’s economic policies. Couple this with the “work disincentives” embedded in ObamaCare where “many will conclude that earning extra money isn’t worth it, or will strive mightily to find ways to earn income under the table” and American opportunity is further eroded.

In Showalter’s article, the word “community organizer” pops up and one learns that “Lenin dispatched Kollontai to set up the Zhenotdel, a communist organizing group financed by the Communist Party for agitation and propaganda of the new model.” Recall the Occupy Wall Street movement, the newly renamed Acorn Party, and even the current despicable bid by Obama to get donations to help fund ObamaCare all packaged as a charitable approach to help him and his cronies.

Obama and the Democratic Party continue to cast aspersions on Tea Party conservatives because they know that these conservatives see right through their linguistic double talk. Those who try to shed light on Obama’s covert and overt attacks on this country will continue to be isolated and excoriated because they elucidate the historical truths of the past.

So when socialism fails, as it always does, the “socialists blame funding.” Consequently, once Lenin had ensnared women into the state controlled system as a result of his lies, the women sadly did not blame the ideas of the state controlled government; instead “they went to the state for not distributing enough money.” Government gives, government takes away, and then government gives again. In Obamaland, some 47 million food stamp recipients are having their benefits cut in a month and don’t even realize it. This is “the essence of ObamaCare. Government has the ultimate authority over health care decisions because government decides what must be included in health insurance and who must pay for it.” Echoes of the past are coming to haunt America.

Lest one argue that Lenin’s ideas are no longer potent, recall that the “legacy of the social wreckage continues to this day. Russia still ranks No. 1 in the world in both divorces and abortions.”

This ObamaCare wedding tax, is of course, a boon to divorce attorneys as the government demolishes the sanctity of marriage. Collette Caprara at The Foundry asserts that “the impact of this discrimination will affect couples at every income level and creates a scenario in which couples’ wisest financial decision would be to divorce or to forgo tying the knot.” How perverse is this?

If ObamaCare is not completely dismantled, this profound bias against marriage asserts that “married couples are second class citizens.” Consequently the law establishes cohabiters as “a privileged special interest, quietly channeling tens of thousands of dollars to them in preferential government bonuses.” In addition, this wedding tax is a spiritual violation that Obama and the Democrats are only too glad to inflict upon Americans. Same sex married couples should take heed of this as well.

Eric Hoffer in his 1951 book entitled The True Believer writes that “one of the most potent attractions of a mass movement is its offering of a substitute for individual hope” (15). Obama and the Democrats keep undermining Americans ability to succeed, inculcating the idea that there is no future in America unless it is totally guided by the government. Obama continues to destroy individual hope when jobs are scarce, college tuition is exorbitant, unemployment benefits are worth more than solid, honest work — each of these disaffects far too many Americans who see no future before them.

Obama, an ideologue who is “so fanatically committed to this cause that no amount of reality can make him abandon it” keeps offering his empty “hope and change” speech. But, as the evidence mounts and the facts become known, it is up to us to come out of our stupor and halt this battering ram that is deliberately grinding down the people. It is equally important to remember Pascal’s advice that “…the embarrassment wherein [a person] finds himself produces in him the most unjust and criminal passions imaginable, for he conceives a mortal hatred against that truth which blames him and convinces him of his faults.” As Obama is thwarted, be prepared for the true vision of this demagogue.

There are so many reasons to abort ObamaCare completely — the assault on marriage is now one more.

If Money is Property By Michael Bargo Jr.

The most important issue facing all Americans in their battle against the regulatory power of a growing central government is a very simple one: whether money is property.

In recent decades the federal government has grown at a much faster rate than the economy as a whole. And the power enabling it to affect — and often devastate — the finances of Americans is dependent upon the idea that local, state and Federal agencies can seize the wealth of Americans without any due process.

Due process may seem a distant and innocuous concept, yet its connection to the ability of government to regulate the lives of Americans is a crucial one, one that must be revisited soon if Americans are to live in an environment of free choice.

This is because the ability to levy fines — to take money away from citizens — is the lifeblood of most federal agencies. Here’s a simple comparison that illustrates the point: if a police officer gives you a ticket for a parking violation, the ticket has a court date on it. This court date allows you the opportunity to exercise your right to dispute the traffic violation. And the most important aspect of this is that you are automatically given this “due process,” the opportunity to challenge the parking violation, by the police department and local government. But an EPA official can fine a farmer $10,000 for spraying pesticide too close to a wetland, and there is no automatic hearing. Without due process there is no presumption of innocence.

The Constitution clearly states in Article V: “No person may… be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” Due process means a hearing before a jJudge where the accused has the right to the presumption of innocence, legal notice of the hearing, discovery, and so on. No branch of government; local, state, or federal can take your property first and then allow you the opportunity for a hearing. The word “without” clearly means that a person may only be deprived of property after having been given due process safeguards.

If the Constitution were to state that no one could be deprived of liberty or money without due process, then the distinction would be more obvious. Right now bureaucracies confuse the issue and treat money as if it were not property.

That money does not seem to be property at this time has led to some conduct by government that the Constitution was written to prevent. In the state of Idaho a couple named the Sacketts obtained all the local permits necessary to build a house. Everything was properly done, according to the local building code. But the EPA noted that the couple raised the level of the site by adding dirt and stones, and fined the couple $75,000 per day until they complied with EPA guidelines. What made the Sackett case more disturbing is that the EPA refused to give the Sacketts a hearing. They had no way to challenge the EPA finding in court.

It is this loophole, the issue of “who decides” if due process takes place and when, that is the unconstitutional aspect. In the Sackett case the infamous Ninth Circuit Court ruled that the Clean Air Act precluded “pre-enforcement judicial review” and that such preclusion did not violate due process. The Fifth Amendment clearly does not allow any preclusions, and the Clean Air Act, or any other Congressional Act, cannot ban judicial review. All Congressional Acts must allow citizens the protection of the Constitution per the supremacy clause of the Constitution.

If I leave my wallet and pair of gloves on a bench seat of a restaurant, and somebody takes it, no one would argue that he could claim that the gloves and wallet were his property. And if the wallet is my property then all the contents of the wallet, including the money inside, is my property.

So it seems that the concept that money is property is well established in the understanding of property and possessions by the American people. But the real question is, is money “property” in the constitutional sense, and does it deserve Fifth Amendment protection?

If money is property, then the EPA cannot take money without due process. This would almost put the EPA out of business since many of their fines are outrageous. And if the EPA’s fines had to be approved by juries, very few juries composed of homeowners or farmers would allow Americans to suffer the EPA’s bureaucratic abuse.

Right now there is a long established and intimate connection between property and money. After all, County tax assessors use money as the measure of the value of real property. Nothing other than money is used as the basis of a valuation of property.

In fact, there are only two measures that define property: its physical location and money. Now the discussion starts to close in on an interesting distinction: the EPA cannot seize the physical location of the property without due process, yet it can seize the money of the owners and that does not always need due process.

If the location of a piece of real estate and its monetary value are so intimately connected then it would seem that money is property, and that fines cannot be levied by the EPA, IRS, or any other agency without a court hearing. Yet every day in every part of the U.S. local officials issue building code violation fines, etc. without court hearings. This is particularly true of Federal officials, who do not derive their authority locally but from a distant, national authority.

One may argue that fines are acceptable, since taxes, which are also money, are levied without due process. But taxation is a different administrative issue: taxes are applied equally to everyone. A fine is applied to only one specific person or corporation at a time.

And taxes cannot be written to target individual persons or individuals. They must be generally applied. A new hamburger franchise, for example, cannot be taxed differently than existing hamburger franchises. No unit of government can tax one person or entity uniquely.

If this entire discussion seems rather tedious, it is only because government, and in particular the federal government, has entangled its administrative power with Constitutional corruption to enable themselves to dominate America’s social and political fabric.

The tendency of governments to seize property without court hearings is one of the three abuses of individual rights that motivated the Fifth Amendment. As government grows and encroaches upon individual rights there is no doubt that while it may not yet be able to seize property without due process, every day more regulations are written by the Obama Administration that allow it to seize money without due process.

Legal foundations should take it upon themselves to challenge federal administrative guidelines and bring this issue to the Supreme Court. If the time ever comes when money is defined as property by the Supreme Court bureaucratic powers will be greatly weakened. The government’s ability to seize the wealth of Americans and transfer it to themselves will be severely curtailed.

What is going on?…Purging the Military…

On October 12, 2013, ABC’s Dianne Sawyer brought us a video of a 9th, yes 9th, General fired from the military this week. It’s even reaching some of the more liberal stations and begging them to ask the question, “What is going on?” It seems President Obama is preparing what he calls “my military” for his version of the final solution. With all the documentation we have, it looks as though he is purging the military for the next step.
We have now seen this official President Obama temper-tantrum in action this week. But is it a temper-tantrum or is there a method to his madness?

We have been warned by a Official to expect radical changes. You heard of our dire warnings of foreclose and forming the Treaty that could set a global economy in motion. We have the very real possibility of shutdown and handed over due to debt in this mess. We even have a blower warning us that President Obama wants to radically take over power. People are crying out, where is our military in this mess?

Well, there seems to be some very credible evidence that since last year and through this year that there has been a test “given to American Military Officers. The Main point of that test, “Would you fire on an American Citizen?” If you say no, then as Donald Trump would say, “Your fired!” Since the beginning of the year these retired officer’s have came forward with “ war against the U.S. ”. We even know others confirmed this litmus test. Then we have heard President Obama himself talk about “My Military”.

And this isn’t all. This strange chain of firings from the Military is so bizarre and so unheard of that even Dianne Sawyer of ABC news reached out to cover it when the 9th, yes 9th, Military Commanding Officer was relieved of duty in less than a year. This doesn’t include the long list last year, this is just the nine individuals this year alone.

http://freepatriot.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Gen-Ham.jpgGeneral Carter Hamm, United States Army-Served as head of the United States African Command. Was in charge of the US African command during the fateful night of September 11, 2012 when the lives of four American citizens was taken in the Embassy in Benghazi . Hamm was extremely critical of our Commander and Chief and stated he lied about not having reinforcements in the area on that night. Hamm “resigned and retired” on April of 2013.

http://freepatriot.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/thumb_RDML-Gaouette.jpgRear Admiral Charles Gaouette/ United States Navy-Commander of Carrier Strike Group Three. His most recent activity served as Deputy Commander of the US Naval Forces, US Central Command. He was in charge of Air Craft Carriers in the Mediterranean Sea the night of September 11, 2012. He testified before the hearing committee and said that there may not have been time to get the flight crews there but left the door open on if told when the events took place if that he could have had the aircraft launched upon cross-examination by Rep. Tray Gowdey. Recently fired from the Administrative post and relieved of Duty by the Obama Administration for “utterance of a racial slur”.

http://freepatriot.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/ralphbaker.jpegMajor General Ralph Baker, United States Army- Major General Baker served as the Commander of the Joint Task Force-Horn at Camp Lamar , Djibouti , Africa . Was also involved in some aspect with the incident September 11, 2012, being under the African Command. Had said he believed attack helicopters could have made it in time. Relieved of command and fired for groping a civilian (no assault charges or sexual misconduct charges filed with JAG)

Brigadier General Bryan Roberts, United States Army-General Roberts took command of Fort Jackson in 2011. Was considered a rising star in his field. He served in Iraq during his service as the Commanding Officer of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, and was the Deputy Commanding General of the United States Army Recruiting Command, Fort Knox , KY. Relieved of Duty and Fired for Adultery. While this is still on the books in the United States Code of Military Justice, it has rarely been used since President Bill Clinton’s indiscretions.

http://freepatriot.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/MG_Gregg_Sturdevant.jpgMajor General Gregg A. Sturdevant, United States Marine Corps-Director of Strategic Planning and Policy of for the United States Pacific Command and Commander of the aviation wing at Camp Bastion , Afghanistan . Highly decorated soldier with two Naval and Marine Commendations and two Naval and Marine Good Conduct medals. He also has an Air Medal with a gold star. He served honorably and distinctively. He had asked about supplies to his command. He was one of two commanding officers suddenly relieved of command and fired from the military for failure of proper force protection.

http://freepatriot.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/MG_Charles_Gurganus1.jpgMajor General Charles M.M. Gurganus, United States Marine Corps- Regional Commander in the Southwest and I Marine Expeditionary Force (a forward or frontal division) in Afghanistan. Also Highly decorated with a Defense Superior Service Medal, two Legion of Merritt w/Valor, and three Meritorious Service Commendations. Major General C.M.M.Gurganus had questioned the use of Afghanistan patrols along side American patrols after two officers were executed at their desk and a platoon was lead into an ambush on the front lines. Was the other commander relieved of duty for failure of proper force protection.

http://freepatriot.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/220px-LTG_David_Huntoon.jpgLieutenant General David Holmes Huntoon Jr, United States Army-Served as the 58th Superintendent of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. He had graduated from the same academy in 1973 and had served in Senior Planning and Education Services through the majority of his career. He was “censored” for“an investigation” into an “improper relationship” according to The Department of Defense.Nothing was released to the nature of the improper relationship. Nothing was even mentioned if an actual investigation even took place.

http://freepatriot.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/thumb_VADM-Tim-Giardina.jpgVice Admiral Tim Giardina, United States Navy-Deputy Commander of the United States Strategic Command. Commander of the Submarine Group Trident, Submarine Group 9 and Submarine Group 10, where every single one of the 18 Nuclear Submarines with Nuclear Trident Missiles of those three groups were in his command. This commander earned six Legions of Merit, Two Meritorious Service Medals, two Joint Service Commendation Medals, and several other medals, ribbons and decorations in his illustrious career. He was removed from service and fired from the military for the charge of using counterfeit poker chips (not making that up).

http://freepatriot.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/GetFile_xlarge.jpegLast on the list, Major General Michael Carry, United States Air Force-Commander 20th Air Force in charge of 9,600 people and 450 Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) at three operational wings and served in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He was Fired October 11, 2013, for “Personal Misbehavior” is what was told to ABC News. He and Giardina were both the two top Commanders over the United States Nuclear Arsenal before their dismissal within 48 hours of each other.
As ABC News reports, this is an extremely alarming rate and one of the biggest and fastest purges of military personnel ever recorded. It apparently is such a shock at the rate even for a long time veteran of reporting the news as Dianne Sawyer, because at one point she gets heated saying two Commanders of the Nuclear Command.
You don’t put people who are not very intelligent and without a squeaky clean record over that area of the Military. It is enough to make the hardest and staunchest of supporters as the ABC news crew to pause and ask themselves, “what step is he planning?”.

This is beyond politics!

Gov. Brown of CA. approves 10 gun bills, veto’s 7..the 10 are still bad bills….

SACRAMENTO, California (Reuters) – California Governor Jerry Brown vetoed several gun control bills on Friday, a move that essentially rebuffs an effort by fellow Democrats to enact a sweeping expansion of firearms regulation in the most populous U.S. state.

Brown vetoed the strictest bill, which would have classified any rifle with a removable magazine as an assault weapon, calling it an “infringement on gun owners’ rights.”

“I don’t believe that this bill’s blanket ban on semi-automatic rifles would reduce criminal activity or enhance public safety enough to warrant this infringement on gun owners’ rights,” Brown said in his veto message.

He also vetoed a measure that would have banned people from owning a gun for 10 years if they had been convicted of substance abuse violations or ordered to undergo outpatient mental health treatment.

Brown did approve a measure to ban kits used to convert standard guns into semi-automatics with large capacity magazines, which he described as closing a loophole in existing state law.

California’s actions come amid national political lobbying around gun control, as lawmakers struggle to balance calls for more regulation following mass shootings against fear among gun rights supporters that their constitutional right to bear arms may be violated.

State lawmakers sent 17 gun control measures to Brown’s desk, in part because the U.S. Congress, mired in partisan bickering, failed to act after several high profile gun rampages last year, including a deadly Connecticut school shooting that killed 20 children and six adults in December.

“Large-capacity magazines have no place on our streets,” said Assemblywoman Nancy Skinner, who represents Berkeley. “We seized the opportunity to make California a model for common-sense gun violence prevention.”

Chuck Michel, a Southern California attorney who advises the National Rifle Association on gun rights issues, said that with the exception of a bill phasing out the use of lead in ammunition used in hunting, Brown vetoed the measures that were of greatest concern to the NRA.

“I am pleased he’s shown some respect for the rights of California gun owners and those who would choose to own a gun to defend their families,” Michel said. Even so, the gun rights organization is concerned about several measures that Brown did sign, including the one banning conversion kits.

“He vetoed the worst of the worst,” Michel said, “But the rest are still bad.”

In all, Brown signed 10 new gun control bills and vetoed seven. Those he signed included a measure to ban people from gun ownership for five years if they tell a licensed psychotherapist that they plan to shoot people. Another, by Republican Ted Gaines, would give mental health professionals 24 hours to report such threats.

In addition to the semi-automatic weapons ban, bills vetoed included a measure that would have limited the ability of private parties to sell guns in the state, and one that would have allowed the city of Oakland to enact its own gun restrictions.

New from The Gold Diggers of New Jersey

Introducing NEW NEL-Coils
The NEL-Coils are high performance search coils designed to be used with most major brand metal detectors.
There is great demand for search coils that are stable, sensitive and give more depth than stock search coils. We tested these coils and found them to be far superior to stock and other after market coils.
Some stock search coils do not work well in difficult ground conditions. They can be noisy and give false signals even at moderate sensitivity levels. With the NEL-Coils you will find that your machine is more stable and able to run at a higher sensitivity level.
The NEL-Coils are manufactured like no other coils on the market today. They are perfectly balanced, tuned and made to last.
There are several sizes available to suit your hunting needs:
There are two additional coils available that are not listed on our website yet (the pages are in development and will be listed very soon) nor are they mentioned in the above post: They are the “Attack” and “Storm” coils. Please note the FULL LIST we will be carrying below:
NEL Sharp: 5 inch round (13cm)
NEL Sharpshooter: 9.5″ x 5.5″ (24 cm x 14 cm)
NEL Hunter: 12.5″ x 8.5″ (31.7 cm x 22 cm)
NEL Tornado: 12″ x 13″ (30.5 cm x 33 cm)
NEL Attack: 15 inch round (38cm)
NEL Storm: 13″ x 14″ (33 cm x 35.5 cm)
NEL Big: 15″ x 17″ (38 cm x 45.7 cm)

Compared with stock search coils the NEL Tornado search coil has an average of 30% more depth on coin sized targets. The recently released NEL BIG search coil goes 50% deeper and has great coverage for searching those wide open areas.
